Virtual forum "Situation of human rights in Honduras, democratic crisis and UPR recommendations"

CCPR co-organization and participation as speaker in the forum

On 18th March 2021, in cooperation with the Coalición contra la Impunidad (CCI), the Centre carried out a virtual forum entitled "Situation of human rights in Honduras, democratic crisis and UPR recommendations". This forum on the follow-up to the 2020 UPR recommendations for Honduras had as its main goal to review how these recommendations could be integrated in the governmental policies. The forum set out a critical analysis on this process given the democratic crisis that Honduras faces, which affects the activities carried out by organizations and civil society in the country.
