The 138th session of the Human Rights Committee will be held from 26 June to 28 July 2023. The Committee will then review Brazil, Burundi, Colombia, Cyprus, Lesotho, Somalia, State of Palestine, and Uganda.
The dialogue will be public and will be possible to follow in-person and online. The Committee will also adopt the List of Issues in relation to Honduras and Suriname, and the List of Issues Prior to reporting of Jamaica and the Republic of Moldova.
The Committee will also evaluate Mexico, Niger, Portugal, and Senegal under the follow-up procedure to Concluding Observations.

Deadlines for submission of reports
The deadline to submit NGO written contributions (alternative reports) for the adoption of list of issues is 2 May 2023, and for the States parties under review, 29 May 2023.

The NGO informal briefings for each State party under review are organised by the CCPR Centre, in agreement with the Human Rights Committee's Secretariat. These briefings are open on invitation only. Dates and times of the briefings will be available soon.
